Met the MTBE device to create three records

Recently, the news came from the Luzhou Refinery. The plant adopted a number of measures in 2009 to maximize the production of MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether). The annual output reached 22,618 tons, which is 1.18 times the highest output in the past. The design value of the device is 2,618 tons; the product conversion rate reaches 95.67%, which is nearly 7 percentage points higher than the best level in the past.

 

The factory vigorously carried out a safety production competition, linking the completion of monthly production tasks with performance appraisal, effectively improving the enthusiasm of the team. Each team tried to reasonably adjust the operating parameters of the reaction unit according to the reaction situation and operating experience. The plant also strengthens communication with our technicians, closely tracks the performance changes of D006 catalysts, explores and finds the best operating parameters, replaces the catalysts in time, reduces the processing losses through optimized operation, and maintains high conversion rate of isobutylene in the raw materials.
